Our Performance Site
Our fall operettas are performed at Valley Regional Performing Arts Center in Deep River, Connecticut, on the campus of the Valley Regional High School. Their theatre is furnished with comfortable seats, a large stage with modern lighting and sound systems, and is a perfect setting for Gilbert and Sullivan performances. Directions to the high school campus (at 256 Kelsey Hill Road in Deep River) are given below the map. Use the central main door and follow the hall to the right for the Performing Arts Center auditorium. Directions to Valley Regional High School
From I-95 southbound:
Take Exit 69 onto Route 9 North. After about 5 miles, take Exit 5 and turn left at the end of the exit onto Route 80. Continue about 3/4 mile until you come to a four-way stop. Turn Left onto Warsaw Street. After approximately 1/4 mile, turn Left onto Kelsey Hill Road. The VRHS entrance will be on the left.
From I-95 northbound:
Take Exit 64 (Horse Hill Rd.), turn left onto Route 145 north. Continue a little over 3 miles on Route 145N until it ends at a stop sign. Turn right onto Route 80 east. Continue through one traffic light until you come to a four-way stop where Rt. 80 turns. Continue straight through (on Warsaw St.) approximately 1/4 mile. Turn Left onto Kelsey Hill Road, and the VRHS entrance will soon be on the left.
From Route 9 heading south:
Take Exit 5 (Deep River). Turn right onto Route 80. Continue about 3/4 mile until you come to a four-way stop. Turn Left onto Warsaw Street, continue approximately 1/4 mile. Turn Left onto Kelsey Hill Road, VRHS entrance will be on the left.
From Route 9 heading north:
Take Exit 5. Turn left onto Route 80, and follow about 3/4 mile until you come to a four-way stop. Turn left onto Warsaw Street and continue about 1/4 mile. Turn Left onto Kelsey Hill Road and the VRHS entrance will soon appear on the left.
Alternate route from I-95 south or Route 9 north:
From Route 9, take Exit 4. At end of exit ramp, turn Left onto Rt. 154 north. After about 1/3 mile, turn left onto Kelsey Hill Road. Follow this a little over 1 mile. The VRHS entrance will be on the right. This route is shorter, but the road is narrower than the previous recommendations and will be harder to navigate at night.
